  1. Corection: Hitler was Private first Class (Gefreiter) not Corporal (Unteroffizier). His promotion (after receiving the Iron Cross) was rejected, for lack of Leadership skills. Somewhat embarsing, that in German the "Führer" lacked "Führungsqualitäten".
