Sounds like Putin has taken a few lessons from Nathan Bedford Forrest
1
Landmines dont care who triggers them. So i guess it's apropriate not to care who laid them.
1
9/11 #2 another sequel no one wants to see.
1
cease calling for ceasefires
1
In the interwar years Stalin focused on fighting Social Democrats so Putin follows a Russian Tradition of obvious stupidity
1
Incredibly high numbers of enemys and of course catastrophically bad weather are classics of the "we have to explain away the defeat of our unbeatable forces" See also: "als uns im Dezember vor Moskau der Winter überraschte"
1
And the sad thing is: Europes position on european security is not worth mentioning (and rightfully so)
1
Or perhaps Iran is giving missiles away as a show of strength suposed to give the impression of very huge stockpiles
1
Is it just me, or does Russias threat smell of weakness?
1
terms of imorality
1
@bluebandites corect me if i'm wrong, but she is in the oposition, right?
1
In a cynical sense Putin filled the hole that Gorbatchev had ripped in the heart of NATO
1
5:00 i cant remember anything about this particular "weird hand gesture"
1
Never trust any statistic you havent forged yourself Winston Churchill or General Gosvenor then stolen by Winston or german propaganda to undermine Churchill or perhaps someone else
1
I hope the free Aluminium Putin has offered is worth it. Unless Putin was mocking Trump, given that the US has put tariffs on Aluminium imports and Putins background in East-Germany (for reference: Aluminium was the stuff East-German notoriously worthless coins where made of, so perhaps Putin just told his fellow silowiki how cheap he had Trump)
1
Ambush tactics slow down the offensive, perhaps even stop it, but they wont recapture teritory or break encirclements.
1
Has Prigozhin allready put out an Advert sugesting to outsource US Special Ops to Wagner?
1
I dare say Ukraine will adapt the plan to do exactly what Russia is not preparing for.
1
I guess part of the problem is the completely arbitrary and contradictory standard for the financial value of Ukraine Aid Particularly the price of weapons deliveries
1
I guess Putin will do anything to safe his Power.
1
I guess the degree of revenge (from symbolic to all out war) depends on how seriously upset certain people realy are.
1
The level of destruction in the ocupied areas makes Russias "victories" even more phyric.
1
The lessons of Munich vs the lessons of Vietnam.
1
Surprise is much easier achieved if one hides forces among the civilian Population, like Hamas.
1
I think british special forces used Kajaks in WW II
1
Since Russia has a small Korean Minority in the far east they can disguise the North Koreans as Russian Citizens, with some level of (im)plausible denial.
1
If Hegseth had put some realism into this matter, he would have noticed that Europe being abandon... sorry i mean "taking the lead" also means that Europe has little incentive (and less capability) to help the US against (mainland) China. And the PRCs recent vote against Russia in the UN looks as if Xi noticed the gift Trump just handed him.
1
Call me cynic (or paranoid), but after Mr. Hershs article (and considering the dificulties of the Operation) this new findings look suspiciously like an attempt to muddy the waters (by presenting an alternative possible culprit). And potentialy even to throw Ukraine under the bus (or rather the BMP) just in case the economic in the US takes a serious Hit.
1
Popular Generals are dangerous for unpopular Regimes.
1
Belarus has invented the carbon neutral SPG👍
1
Mineclearing sounds like the perfect job for (ground) drones.
1
Lebanon has much more mountains to dig tunnels in then Gaza.
1
Aparently Putin has realised that no one takes verbal threats from him serious anymore.
1
Hamas has a strong motive to exagerate casualty numbers, to generate pressure for an seizefire.
1
The FSB(KGB) witholding vital informations from fellow (read: rival) services (and the GRU in particular) is standard (mal)practice.
1
Hamas deliberately uses Israeli helmets and other equipment to make identification even harder.
1
In Realpolitic you side with Russia, but Russia does NOT side with you.
1
I guess the danger of being send into realy stupid wars (i.e. Iraq) doesnt help with the recruitment either.
1
Perhaps the official "investigation" will conclude that gravity caused the plane, or its parts, to go downward. Gravity was incidently discovered by an englishmen, so probably MI6 involvement. Oh and gravity and the aircraft vere invented in Russia of course.😂
1
Looks like a hellscape from a dystopian scifi movie.
1
It's a rule of Thumb after all.
1
And still the East Sea refuses to bow to Kim Junk Ompfs will.😂
1
I'm not a CIA Agent is exactly what a CIA Agent would say😂
1
Interesting.
1
I guess autonomous drone-hunting-drones (perhaps chasing the sound of the rotors) will be introduced soon.
1
Actualy it voz Aliens. After all they have strong exile Ukrainian population there, after all the Alien abductions (evidently no one would ever leave the soviet union voluntarily)😂
1
With the Russians focused on Kursk and their ongoing advances in Ukraine, other regions along the border might be vulnerable. Making a scenario possible where the Russians are just about to push the Ukrainians out of Kursk, suffering mass casulties in the process, and then the Ukrainians capture a huge chunk of another Oblast.
1
Unfreezing Iranian assets was aparently a mistake
1
Quite frankly Americans, or westerners in general, dont have to support Russia. All they have to do is being unwilling, or unable, to pay the Ukraine bill.
1
I wonder if Prigozhin just lost his mind. I mean his chances to survive this, let allone win, seem marginal.
