Well since he published it at the end of the war (44 or 45 i think) it cant have helped much in the fight. But it certainly helps understand it. And it is a realy good book.

@drstrangelove09 yes. The point that i'm trying to make is that selfdeclared selflesness of many (suposedly) benevolent movements, is nothing but the fassade for the selfishness of the leadership. And beeing based on a lie it cant work rational (soviet politics, both domestic and abroad, is a perfect example). And Rands (enlightened) selfishness has the benefit of being honestly.
