  12. The worrying thing about the German coalition is that it will probably benefit from it's own inaptitude. Reason beeing that given the likely election results, the only way to form a stable coalition would require the same parties to participate. Leading to outcomes like in Lower-Saxony, Saxony or (worst) Thuringia, where election loss leads to "reelection".

  13.  @protorhinocerator142  that was an effect of the Bretton Woods system. Except that also hurt the US Economy, because it lead to an overvalueated Dollar (thus making made in US more expensive). And therefor Nixon had to quit the System in 1973.

  40. @osric1730  because the mushroom cloud of a nuclear weapon (unlike a reactor) lifts the nuclear fallout straight to the stratosphere, where the jetstream does actualy allways blows eastward (because of the coriolis force and unless Putin can make the earth rotate backwards that wont change)
