@triodehexode I'd suggest your inaccurate assumption, that the social democrats in Europe 'made a better hand of their economies' than the UK, to be clearly incorrect. Indeed, the UK economy is rated 5th/6th in the world. (depending on source) The ONLY European country to achieve a higher rating is Germany. Bet that little fact, really sticks in your throat. The UK economy is stronger/more robust than you'd like to admit.

China General Nuclear (CGN) has been bought out by the British government, so will not participate in the construction. Construction of Sizewell C will be a JOINT French & UK partnership.
