Of course they are not. I'm sick of people claiming they make the dangerous crossing, because they are desperate. France is safe, so is the rest of Europe that they travelled through. They only want to come to the UK, because they get treated better than many UK citizens do. How many UK citizens are sleeping rough? They don't get 4* hotel accommodation, do they?
