I suspect they would have, if it wasn't necessary (for the security of Europe) to help Ukraine DEFEND itself, from it's attacking, Superpower, adversary.

Oban is playing both sides. He/Hungary could leave NATO. However, I suspect he secretly doesn't trust Putin.

@pausereflect5911 'Why should the EU be so vehemently AGAINST PEACE?' They are not. It's Putin/Russia that is against peace. If they weren't, Putin would NOT insist of unreasonable and unrealistic preconditions BEFORE negotiation can begin. Peace is better, shame Putin didn't think of that, BEFORE he invaded Ukraine!
