Finland had NO intention of joining NATO, until Russia invaded Ukraine! 😂😂 After Russia invaded Ukraine, Finland saw that Russia cannot be trusted (it said it had NO intention of invading Ukraine) so, along with Sweden, requested membership of the defensive alliance. Yeah, Putin's THREATS drove the increase of NATO membership! 😂😂😂

@tanzat3859 Russia invaded Ukraine because, Putin claimed the purpose of the operation was to "protect the people" in the predominantly Russian-speaking region of Donbas who Putin falsely claimed that "for eight years now, had been facing humiliation and genocide perpetrated by the Kyiv regime". Putin also lied (nothing new here for Putin) that the Kyiv regime was run by Nazi's, gangsters & drug dealers. Laughably, that simply sounds like a description of Putin's 'inner circle'! 😂😂😂😂 Putin was also anxious about Ukraine 'exploring' the proposition of joining NATO & the EU. You also have to remember, that in 1991 when Ukraine returned it's nuclear warheads, back to the then, Soviet Union. The Soviet Union PROMISED NEVER to attack Ukraine as part of the 'deal'. Yup, more lies!

Putin is FULL of BS hypocrisy. In Putin's mind, it's acceptable for Russia, a supposed 'Superpower', to be supplied with weapons, to continue it's INVASION of a sovereign & democratic country. However, if the UK supplies weapons, to assist Ukraine DEFEND itself, then Putin starts complaining. The utter hypocrisy of the individual, it staggering.
