@cornplastics You are completely wrong. Ukraine is/was an independent country, has been since 1991. The then Soviet leader, Boris Yeltsin, agreed it's independence. He signed all the relevant 'documentation'. Thus, it's legally binding.

@yahuchanonyakov It's not. 'If someone says, "You're out of your gourd!" they mean you've lost your senses.' It's NOT, as you stated, 'symbolic for your head.' or 'expression to refer to your head.' Also, commonly used as, 'You are out of your mind'. So, it's referring to 'mind', not 'head'.
