  1. The combination of the design of the buildings, the impacts of the planes and the resulting fires, caused the buildings to collapse. And you can answer the common refrain of "jet fuel cannot melt steel beams" by saying that the steel beams did not have to melt at all. They just had to heat up and deform to lose their strength.

  3.  @vanillasky1271  The collapses were initially not symmetrical because the tops of the buildings initially tilted to one side before falling straight down. And the buildings were designed to withstand the largest type of plane in the air when they were built, but then planes got larger and faster.

  6. There was a "fuel waterfall" of sorts in each of the towers upon the impacts of the planes. That fuel ignited on impact and poured down through all of the passages through each floor, including the elevator shafts, all the way down to the ground floor, causing damage on every single floor of the towers below the impacts.

  22. Another "what if" idea. What if there had been a carefully-thought-out plan in place to use water bombers, had they been available on 9/11, to drop tons of water onto the roofs or onto the sides of the upper floors of the Twin Towers in an effort to fight the fires?

  25. It is amazing to me that none of those television news cameras around the city pointed at the Twin Towers were on or had their output being recorded at 8:46am. Imagine what AAL11 would have looked like going into 1WTC from their perspectives...
