  1. I am also Canadian, but I use the metric system exclusively, as that is what I grew up with. And I certainly know my height in metric, 1.67 metres.

  2. But the US remains visibly non-metric. Look at their road signs. Look at their gas stations. Look at their bathroom scales. Listen to their weather reports. The vast majority of those in the US still do not use metric measurements.
