  1. It is because mass poverty is immensely profitable for big corporations. Means testing is just another form of class warfare. 5:50 - "Let's assume you're still bothered by the idea of wealthy people getting a free check in the mail or whatever, after all..." they already are!!! Stock options! Trusts! Tax loopholes! That is how wealthy people get money for doing nothing! 7:06 - i.e., Joe Manchin himself engages in class warfare. He is basically telling poor people to "just get a fucking job".
