  1. Yeah... This is not going to happen. Big Oil has invested billions in the scarcity of energy, and if fusion power is perfected, they stand to lose those billions. So Big Oil is going to do everything in its power to suppress this technology.

  2.  @zoltanpecsek4373  But oil is still highly profitable precisely because of its scarcity. Fusion energy would wipe those profits right out.
