Shame it's not like that any more. Go to any gym in the UK and it's really no different from what you see in the USA. Actually for better or worse the UK is just kind of a low-rent USA nowadays...

@ConquerCollin I don't know about that. Although dianabol was available at the time I don't think its use was widespread outside of serious competitive bodybuilding until the 80s
