Yeah I don't like the people of coin either

@FATHOLLYWOODB123 You can quote somebody without endorsing them. For example, Mao Zedong: "Political power grows out of the barrel of a gun". Mao was a right b*stard, but he was right about that. Peaceful protests cannot effect change on their own. Effective political movements involve a non-violent component and a violent component; MLK and Malcolm X were equally important, in their own way. The non-violent elements provide good PR, convinces ordinary people your movement is worth believing in. The violent elements put the fear of God into the government and force them to the negotiating table. Wisdom is wisdom, regardless of the source. You'll be a wiser man if you take the opportunity to learn wherever and however it presents itself.

@FATHOLLYWOODB123 You're getting into dumb arguments on YouTube so I wouldn't be so sure about your "high IQ", champ.

@DrakeRude Because the Republics used to be the "progressive" party and the Democrats used to be the "conservative" party. Abraham Lincoln was a Republican Notice in pretty much the entire rest of the world, the left-wing parties are red and the right-wing parties are blue.

@AnotherAmerican91 Their current motto may as well be "be evil"

@agabrielhegartygaby9203 I imagine the vast majority of demonetization is done by Google's AI flagging it up automatically. Of course, the appeal process is opaque and there's no guarantee a human being will ever bother to look at it. Kafkaesque...

@Jubbable Remember when Google's motto was "Don't be evil"? Google uses AI to censor YT comments and it's forever flagging up and deleting harmless comments because AI sucks. And they don't even have the decency to tell you your comment's been deleted, it's done silently. It looks like it posted just fine, but NOPE - AI ate it! Google should just admit it... make their new motto "Be evil!"

@agabrielhegartygaby9203 Meanwhile they let sociopaths like the Paul brothers do whatever they want

@Jubbable Google is getting increasingly censorious, they're using an AI to delete controversial YouTube comments. It deletes them silently, you can't even tell until you refresh the page and your comment isn't there. And there's no way to know what part of your comment got flagged up. It's completely opaque. F google.

@taturay Remember when liberals were anti-censorship? Funny how all of the modern authoritarian political correctness malarkey started out after Occupy... the powers that be got real scared at that outpouring of anger at the financial system they use to rob us. "W 0 k ǝ" politics were pushed by the powers that be for the same old reason; divide and rule.

@AnotherAmerican91 Imagine how much better the world would be if antitrust legislation was used to forcibly divest Google, Meta etc. of their monopolistic control of the internet. When was the last time a multi-billion dollar company ended up on the wrong end of an antitrust suit? The legislation is barely used now because our legislative process has been captured.

@agabrielhegartygaby9203 Meanwhile, the sociopathic Paul brothers and the brain-rot merchant Mr Beast get glazed by the powers that be. Fluoridation isn't making us stupid; YouTube, TikTok et. al are.

@Jubbable Every time I try to comment on what YouTube does to comments, my comment vanishes Hmmm...
