  1. You'd love the WW1-era "Mars" pistol. A giant hand cannon... and the action can be described as "miniaturized artillery piece". It was designed by ex-Naval officer and certified madman Hugh Gabbett-Fairfax. Apparently it was so unpleasant to shoot that British trials noted "no one who fired it once wished to fire it again".
