  3.  @Mystress1980  Personally I find Ike & Tina's cover to be way too much - but I'm not a massive fan of Tina Turner's vocals in general. Oversinging. I won't deny her talent, it's just not for me. Not a fan of Mariah Carey et. al either.

  4.  @Bunny99s  Yeah, the context is everything. One is about a young man's pain and self-hatred; the other is about an old man looking back on his life with a mix of pride and regret.
