To everyone saying "but regional pricing is fair to countries where the average income is lower!": Publishers have calculated they can still make a profit charging lower prices in certain regions. If publishers stood to lose money selling at a lower regional price, they wouldn't sell in that region! You don't sell for a loss. That means, in regions where the regional price is set higher, they are charging far more than they need to make a profit. In other words, you're being nickel-and-dimed. It's not about "fairness", it's about charging the absolute maximum consumers are willing to pay and hoping they're unaware of regional pricing mechanics.
