  4. The bodybuilding culture narrative that being "fake natty" is more destructive than being open about PED use is wrong, in my opinion. Saying "you can look like me if you use PEDs" encourages young men to use them. Yes, you're not scamming them into buying snake oil but you're still setting them up for a world of hurt Being honest about PED use doesn't mean you're not promoting their use. It doesn't mean you don't bear responsibility for what impressionable young men do with that information
