  1. The problem has never been the guns. The problem is the unacknowledged, undiagnosed and untreated mental illness and personality disorders among the school-aged. Teachers, principals and parents routinely dismiss these concerns and pass them on to the next grade or school. As a teacher, I have expressed concerns for various students for very disturbing behavior only to have it downplayed. No one wants to be bothered. And, most parents defend their children or pull them out if expected to do anything. And Btw. These students are not the ones being bullied. They manipulate, orchestrated and hurt others, while pretending to be the victims, when They Are the Bullies.
