  438.  @NWOterminated  considering my roads aren't shit and we don't have any bridges in the red, we have one of the larges train yards in the country and it's still up to code. i would say yes my taxes are mostly going to where they need to be. though my state is also mostly red. and you can see it as you move into the more blue parts of the state that the roads and things do get a bit bumpy but overall we're in pretty good shape. the fed taxes may be a different story.

  442.  @joekey8464  just because it's unlicensed doesn't mean that it's illegal. in my state we are not required to register or license anything that's not a class 3 weapon, and we are also allowed to carry without a permit. and there is no way to enforce that without a registry. there is a playbook and i'll break it down as simple as i can. they want to do universal background checks. that can't be enforced because there is no way to track who has what and who's selling to who. so you move onto the registry. now the legal owners who don't want to become felons register their arms, not the criminals but the law abiding. now when the crime still doesn't go down because the criminals who didn't register their weapons keep using them, you push for the confiscation or 'buy backs because you already have your registry of where all the legal guns are only the criminals aren't going to be on the registry and they aren't going to be giving up their means of income. now you are left with a massive group of unarmed law abiding citizens and a huge group of criminals that are still armed to the teeth praying on anyone they can find because they know that we are all unarmed.

  443.  @farmer6722  yes. haven't you heard that speed kills? you don't need a car that can go 100 mph. the highest speed limit in the country is 80 or 85. no car should be able to go any faster than that. and yes, we need to ban high capacity gas tanks. you don't need 15 gallons. you can get the job done with 5 you just have to fill up more often, and in that time you're filling up lives will be saved because there is less time that you are on the road as a potential accident.

You could see something on the news tonight and you'll go with it without a single thought to look for other sources or to even come close to verification of information. The rest of us will see a report and then track down 10 stories of that same report and form our own opinion. You are the sheep they are hearding. Next time you see a story, look for at least 5 to 10 sources on the same topic. But be sure to not take all msm.
