@mikebarry6970 if you don't notice the pattern then you don't follow what bills they are trying to pass very closely. it's like clockwork. a bill or law will fail to pass and all reporting will stop. once a new bill gets put up then they start reporting on these things about a week or so in advance.

@joekey8464 the police have no legal obligation to protect you or your property. there's no such thing as too many guns. and no laws on earth will do anything to curb this kind of thing unless they are actually enforced the way they were supposed to.

@skullcrusher171h8 yes. same with gas capacity. we know your car comes with a 15 gallon tank, but if you start a chase then you are going to be able to drive for a while, so we are going to require you to go get a 5 gallon tank so if you commit a crime you can only go so far.

@joekey8464 just because it's unlicensed doesn't mean that it's illegal. in my state we are not required to register or license anything that's not a class 3 weapon, and we are also allowed to carry without a permit. and there is no way to enforce that without a registry. there is a playbook and i'll break it down as simple as i can. they want to do universal background checks. that can't be enforced because there is no way to track who has what and who's selling to who. so you move onto the registry. now the legal owners who don't want to become felons register their arms, not the criminals but the law abiding. now when the crime still doesn't go down because the criminals who didn't register their weapons keep using them, you push for the confiscation or 'buy backs because you already have your registry of where all the legal guns are only the criminals aren't going to be on the registry and they aren't going to be giving up their means of income. now you are left with a massive group of unarmed law abiding citizens and a huge group of criminals that are still armed to the teeth praying on anyone they can find because they know that we are all unarmed.

@farmer6722 yes. haven't you heard that speed kills? you don't need a car that can go 100 mph. the highest speed limit in the country is 80 or 85. no car should be able to go any faster than that. and yes, we need to ban high capacity gas tanks. you don't need 15 gallons. you can get the job done with 5 you just have to fill up more often, and in that time you're filling up lives will be saved because there is less time that you are on the road as a potential accident.
