@DustinPlatt so two years post pandemic. Why are things still more expensive than DURING the pandemic?

@dave9732 so then why are things harder and more expensive now than during the pandemic?
22
@kangoracco actually saw the first stock market crash. So not my first rodeo. You kids are in for a real treat if you keep doing what you're doing. Hoovervills aren't fiction.

@bobadelman7580 how's that when the pandemic response came after he was already out of office? The US really didn't do much until about April of '20. Months after Trump was out of office.
6
pretty good sign that you aren't in the US

@republicansthatdidntvotefo1605 I couldn't care less about other countries. I have my own things to worry about. But the powers that be say that I'm apparently responsible for the other countries.
5
@bobadelman7580 right... I wish I was getting paid by Russia. Would probably get paid in crisp US currency. You can thank your current president for my potential paycheck. Expected a retort but wasn't expecting the Bot angle. But definitely shows everyone what kind of human you are.

@mysidianrabite7826 and who am I voting for?

@captaincomedian6320 tou seem to confuse inflation with epidemic supply needs. They used the epidemic to inflate prices higher than normal and then used those price marks for the further inflation. So 9-10-01. Gas is at x dollars. 911 happens and gas goes to x+5. Understandable. But, once things settle gas should go back to x. In the case of the pandemic nothing ever went back to its original price. Why would you sell a gallon of milk for 2 dollars when you know that people will pay 5 for it. It's greed. Everywhere you look.
2
@captaincomedian6320 and when have prices gone down? I brought up 911 and prices did come down eventually but never hit that same x line. You are right in that prices will continue to rise, but they are rising for no legitimate purpose other than to make someone more money. It has nothing to do with supply or demand
2
@bobadelman7580 you are right on the dates. I was mistaken.
2
@ednunez7682 the kids should get rid of every single one of them and start from scratch.
2
that's the key. kids are able to graduate highschool without the ability to read or write, let alone research. they bank on people taking the 'news' as the truth and never even consider doing their own looking into it. we've gotten here because the average US citizen is a dullard and takes everything at face value, especially if it's spoon feed to them by the state run media.
2
@painkillerjones6232 the media, and i mean ALL us main stream media is state owned and state run. lookup major shareholders of cnn, msnbc, nbc, cbs, fox, abc. they are all owned by the same two companies, and these two companies are worth more than the US govt. they have more fingers than you can count in political pockets. and on top of that have been deemed too big to fail. the US govt is now corporate owned and there's no peaceful way back
2
rich that he's talking about trump and his dealings with china. how quickly people forget about gal luft.
2
@mysidianrabite7826 If you are voting for Biden, then I'd say that you would be voting for a loser. Do you really think that grandpa Joe is gonna get a second term if he actually gets to finish this one?

@wyrmofvt production didn't get cut one bit. Retailers were cut but producers weren't. If anything was cut, looking back on it, trust the science, we know that none of it had even the slightest impact. So Biden tanked our economy on a whim and is now running because he's peeing on everyone and telling them it's raining. The general population of the US will be its downfall. But those people are being led to the cliff by their own 'govt'.

@bobadelman7580 honestly i couldn't care less about who stuck their pen in any ink. All I care about is how my and my families lives are going. I could have al capone be my president as long as my needs are met, my voice heard, and that I'm not picking up the slack of those not willing to take care of themselves. Yes help those that can't help themselves, but those who feed off of handouts and refuse to help themselves have no purpose here.

@mysidianrabite7826 didn't vote for Trump. Don't align with all of his ideals, but do think that he threw a well timed wrench into the system. What he did was bring all of the people who don't take things at face value together. You could see something on the news tonight and you'll go with it without a single thought to look for other sources or to even come close to verification of information. The rest of us will see a report and then track down 10 stories of that same report and form our own opinion. You are the sheep they are hearding. Next time you see a story, look for at least 5 to 10 sources on the same topic. But be sure to not take all msm. Seek the stuff that bothers you because they may bring light on some things that your own 'news' coverage wants to keep in the dark.

@mysidianrabite7826 didn't vote for him then but might vote for him now just out of spite. My life's not gonna get any worse, possibly might even get better, so take that as you will. I just know that my taxes have never been higher, food costs never been higher, interest rates never been higher. Why on earth would I vote for that to continue? He got thousands upon thousands of votes from kids who he promised he would erase their student debt.....when will that roll out? What promises did he use to get elected has he actually come through on? Infrastructure deal went through and a year or so later we've had more trains derail than ever before, gas is up, student loan stuff was not approved even though he pulled some shady stuff. I'm just trying to understand how you still follow this man?
