  4. so study this play book. enact universal background checks... realize that you can't enforce it because you don't have a record of who is selling what. you need a record so now comes forced registration....find out that only the law abiding are registering their weapons and crime still hasn't changed. next step, now that you have your registration and know who has what you start your confiscations. and at the end of the day it will not even come close to slowing down crime. criminals will not be registering their firearms, they will continue to buy and sell to each other. they will not be going to any 'buy backs' so you will have succeeded in disarming all law abiding citizens, turning them all into potential targets for the crime element that has no regard for laws or human life.
