There's some very basic BS in this video. Haiti was a pariah in the western world NOT because the west was afraid of slaves freeing themselves but because Haiti had massacred every white person in the country. No country is going to be willing to be friends with that. The bloodletting continued for many years in the form of rebellions and vendettas. Having killed everyone who could've competently run the country Haiti was left with a long list of INcompetents, tyrants, outright murderers, and corruptocrats who consistently got rid of the competent possible leaders. Other countries bear no responsibility to be helpful and kind to others: they owe it only to their own citizens so you don't get to blame anyone other than Haiti itself. You were tremendously disingenuous in this video. Try being honest next time.
