  1. Marco Polo NEVER got to China. The farthest he got was (possibly) Western India, but probably only Afghanistan. This has been well proven by many scholars. His writings up to where he DID go are very reliable, but his writings about China are jam-packed with inaccuracies and fabrications. There are no scholars of him and the period who believe he got there.
