She was far better than the black and dance hags promoted in the 1980s. I am glad she overcame her issues and glad she put out the material that she did because most of it is good. It may not be "serious" enough for someone like you but it sounds good.

Kuklapolitan All you have the past 25 years are grotesque, ugly, black hags who were given free voice lesson for a very long time in some Affirmative Action music program who make Stone Age, African bush pig sounds in Hollywood studios. The white female artists of the past did not have time for that and were rushed and hassled and not protected by the media because they were black. She made plenty of good songs and was nice to look at unlike madonna, jacko or whitney houston-- now those are some crap bags being called artists.
