  1. +L Martinez it was only a perception that Elton John disappeared during the 1980s but he had hits in 80, 82, 83, 85 and 87. by the time his 87 hit was out I was surprised he was not dying of AIDS because of so many people dying of it and the perception Elton John disappeared.

  2. He needs to get a live-in driver until he gets his license back. I am wondering what he was doing from 1985 to 1995 when he could have made some good alternative or new wave or indie music. Instead he waits until the late 1990s-2000s and makes some goofy hip hop song and goes nowhere musically.

  3. Did he make any music in the 1980s? I felt a little disgust when he dabbled with hip hop in the 1990s that was too low for anyone credible. He just declared bankruptcy maybe the alcohol use contributed to bad financial decisions. He should take antabuse or something to immediately stop the alcohol abuse.

  6. the time for him to make a comeback album..hard rock album was 1992-1996 when retro 70s was being celebrated. now it is just nice that people like David cassidy are still alive . saw his movie on classic vh1 about 10 years ago it was pretty much the best "new," movie I saw since the 1980s.

  7. DUIs destroy the lives of rich and poor alike. A DUI today is not like a DUI from 30 or 40 years ago. For him to start drinking in 2002 is very late in life to start substance abuse considering there are so many medications to help with drug and alcohol abuse now unlike 30, 40 or 50 years ago.
