@abdulsalamibrahim8581 I didn't even know that CNN was a Russian news agency.

@abdulsalamibrahim8581 By the way, the Israeli Air Force is currently targeting ammunition depots at the Russian naval base in Tartus.😂

Indeed, Assad has been "elected" president since 2000. Before that, his father Hafiz al-Assad was president for 29 years until he passed the election to his son. That's how democracy works, right?

Russian media reported that some Russian forces are still surrounded in Syria and can no longer move. Russia has asked Turkey for help in getting them out. Turkey has not yet responded to the "superpower's" begging.

@johnosullivan2197 Well, at least according to Russian media which suddenly called them rebels and victorious opsoition as soon as they have won...

@johnosullivan2197 Nice try, the USA has a total debt to GDP ratio of 126 percent. Japan has a total debt to GDP ratio of 217 percent and its economy still works. You'll probably have to wait a few more generations. In the meantime you can try to learn something.

@johnosullivan2197 In addition, the Japanese yen is not a world reserve currency, but the dollar is, which is why the USA can print as much money as it wants since the inflation is spread across the global economy. So ultimately it's not the USA's debt but the world's debt...

@johnosullivan2197 Maybe your ex US Forces can help you understand some basic economics?

@sveinsigurdgismarvik4445 Elected president? Indeed, Assad has been elected president since 2000. He is so democratic that he even inherited his presidency from his father.

@sveinsigurdgismarvik4445 It's a shame that we in the EU don't have presidents as democratic as Assad. He only killed 500,000 Syrians, a true humanist of the Middle East.

Russia is a regional power, at least in Kursk.
