Even if the standard of living here in Bavaria were to be halved, it would still be twice as high as it is in your country. I respect that, even though I think Elon Musk will be the first on Mars. However, I also believe that it is unworthy for a democracy like India to cooperate so closely with a war criminal, corrupt dictatorship like Russia...

Faced with Russian aggression, the Germans decided to invest an additional 100 billion in their army. Thanks to Putin's stupidity, at least an additional trillion will probably be invested in rearmament in NATO in the next 5 years.

But at the same time, given that humanity will become a multiplanetary species this century, you should reflect on our division of humanity into nations. I'm cosmopolitan and ultimately think of nations as just a collective delusion just as temporary as tribal cultures, feudalism and kingdoms.

Nato has no cannon fodder, people in the west are valuable. Unlike in Russia, there life is not worth a ruble and soldiers are consumed by the army like ammunition.

@fordhill6646 Well, the phrase "no propper toilets" means different things in different countries. May "not proper" in Germany could be in other countries, for example in yours the most modern, most hygienic and cleanest toilet in town.

@fordhill6646 Yes i can clarify that too. I live in Bavaria which has no independent foreign policy because it is a federal state like California. It doesn't interest me at all whether Germany or Bavaria or California is governed from Berlin, Brussels or Washington. What interests me is that we have a high standard of living and a high life expectancy. You can use the imagined freedom of your government, which doesn't give a damn about you and doesn't even know you exist, to compensate for the low standard of living and your lower wages if you need it.👍

@fordhill6646 Well, a long life expectancy is of course relative. Here in Bavaria we only have a life expectancy of 79.3 years for men. Other Western countries are of course better. The average life expectancy in Niger on the other hand is 64 years... But maybe you can also calculate with the help of higher mathematics that 78.8 years in the USA is higher than 64.0 in Niger? Incidentally, the average annual salary in Niger is €2,032. In the year, not in the month. Do you earn less? It seems so.
