Well, that's the problem. How can a country without a free press create an objective international press freedom, democracy, corruption, birth rate or life expectancy index? In this case, India would be the greatest country in the world in all parameters...

@prateekdhingra292 Yes, the numbers regarding Afghanistan/Pakistan are really strange. Maybe they come from the fact that under the Taliban no more free press is suppressed because no more press exists. Or, on the contrary, a few liberal articles were published so that aid money could flow again without which the country could not survive.

The index is very strict. Even in the West, only Scandinavia makes it into the green. If a country that appears in red on this index publishes its own index, it would of course be green. I bet North Korea does just that... Germany is dark yellow on this graph and I notice the massive difference in press freedom compared to green Scandinavia!

@rrathore1521 You should also not forget that India's gross domestic product is 5.2 times larger than Bavaria's, but you also have 108 times more inhabitants. Only 13.08 million live in Bavaria. So yes we are green. Maybe the video "flying over bavaria" can help you in this regard.

@paper plane Well that's your problem. What propaganda is the phrase every propaganda victim says. Just one example among thousands that affects me directly. The video of the alleged protests in Germany against the arms deliveries was a protest against compulsory vaccination. But of course the propagandists of the Hindustan Times know that Indians cannot read protest signs in German. That being said, every video related to Ukraine is a 100% reproduction of the Russian propaganda narrative. Ridiculously and repulsively primitive.
