@johannuys7914 Well, just accumulate territory for later negotiations. Russia can then swap Kursk back for Donbas. The Kremlin will not want to endure the humiliation of becoming the first nuclear power in history to lose territory. Every square kilometer in Kursk is probably worth 20 square kilometers in Donbas on the negotiation table.

@Qvadratus. The only cope is that Russia will ever conquer the Donbas, it took them 2 years for the small town of Vhuledar. But Kramatorsk or Sloviansk alone are 10 times larger and have also been fortified for years.

@johnm7267 The USA supports Ukraine with 0.35 percent of its gross domestic product, comparable to the EU. The reason why the Ukrainian military receives so ridiculously little support is that no one wants to destabilize the Kremlin regime so far that the nuclear weapons will fall into the hands of warlords like Kadyrov in a collapse of the Russian Federation.
