@napoleon2564 Well he didn't know he was being filmed. Says a lot

@guitarmatricide4834 Although we share some values, I think we also differ a lot fundamentally. You guys value liberty a lot more than we do. We still have a monarchy which most people want to keep despite it being antithetical to democracy. We don't have a right to bear arms because we value safety more. You value independence a lot while we value the collective more, i.e universal healthcare. For that reason, I'd say we are a lot more similar to countries in Europe in values, and closer to the US in language & history.

Spot on. Just look at the reactions you get when you suggest we get rid of the monarchy and become a fully democratic republic

The "special relationship" is really more of an abusive one sided relationship. The UK is a de facto client state of the US

@guitarmatricide4834 Even with work ethic, I'm not so sure since we have a lot more time off than you guys. I think you guys are definitely a lot more hard working and entrepreneurial. And I guess you're talking more about the South with the music? That makes sense since I believe most of them have British ancestry as opposed to other parts of the US that have different ethnic makeups

@guitarmatricide4834 Well yeah but the so-called "special relationship" refers to the governments of the two countries

@guitarmatricide4834 That checks out. Yeah if there's one thing us Brits all agree on, it's that it's a bit shyt over here haha. But hey, life goes on I will say that it definitely takes me aback whenever I hear an American accent over here. Like something straight out of a movie. All the Americans I've met have been great. I used to work at a hotel. They were the best tippers :) 👌

@guitarmatricide4834 Yeah American culture has permeated every corner of the globe pretty much so we're bound to be a lot more clued in on you than you us, but that's natural. I feel slightly embarrassed to know more US presidents than UK prime ministers though lol. I think it's the allure of American history, but idk In my opinion, tipping culture in the states is kinda crazy. Not sure why it's still a thing nowadays

@guitarmatricide4834 If I lived or visited the US, I don't think I'd tip at all but then I guess the social stigma would get to me. I'd like to think I'd stick to my guns though. I think it's ridiculous that they'd rather get upset at customers than their boss
