  2. The point about owing a favour is almost true, for me at least. Its not the fact I feel I owe them, thats fine. I'm happy to help them back when the time comes, but its the expectation that I owe them as well as the constant reminder. I've had people disrespect me just because they did me a favour one time so they feel they "get to" talk to me a certain way. Forget that noise, keep your favour.

That's why you stick to what you're good at producing and import the other stuff. You're focusing on one type of good (cars) and ignoring the various that America is a leading export in, e.g computers (Apple, Microsoft, etc)

  17. Having kids is the ultimate form of selfishness. You're creating life. Life is absolutely brutal just by it's unpredictable nature. The kid could come out with deformities, diseases, or other complications. Then, they could end up getting horribly bullied at school developing social anxiety or any other issue that'll carry over to their adulthood. Then you have all kinds of accidents they could get into and economic or political instabilities that could wreck them. By having a kid, you're rolling a dice and hoping for the best - and that's not on your own life. That's on the life of another person. Kinda crazy if you ask me
