Bit of both but mostly just not a very intelligent guy. He has the most superficial take on everything. He'll say something like "the Nazis were socialist. Nazis bad. Therefore socialist bad" which is obviously ridiculous in several ways

Because its not 90% of their property. It's 90% of the surplus value after a certain milestone. Pay closer attention

Well yeah, people on social welfare usually aren't running businesses... What even is this comment lmao

@themusic6808 I used to be one of those types. Constantly defending the super rich because I thought: 1. They earned it (Not really) 2. Anyone can make it (Not true)

They're not meant to incentivise anything. They're meant to help. Not everybody can just 'come out of it' on their own when the system is designed for a bunch of people to fail and have nothing

Assuming you can only work for profit. Besides, you could just stop working then if you're earning $3 million a year. What's the issue?

@christophershreiner5114 I literally said you can stop working when you hit that mark. Nah, I think I'd be happier knowing I could finally afford more stuff, and there'd also be a lot less people dying from preventable diseases. Your lack of basic understanding of redistribution is showing.

We have universal healthcare paid by taxes, in the UK. It's one of the only things almost everybody here will defend religiously. Several other countries have similar. If the richest country in the world can't figure it out how to make it work, then idk what to tell you

Translation: "Don't trust your fellow citizens - the average man/woman. Trust the corporate tycoons instead. They have your best interests closer to their heart"

@KimChi-wz7mk Wealth is finite because resources are finite. And yes, it is a zero sum game for that very reason.

@tonytony87 We're not paying for them FUCKING DRINKS!

No, it doesn't "always" mismanage money. Besides, you think companies don't often mismanage money? Even grossly? Have you been paying attention just these last few years with all the mass layoffs occurring? Those were a result of companies mismanaging money

Free market capitalism makes sense...if you're not poor, and you blame the poor for being poor

False dichotomy. Also, is America only the top 1% of the population?
