I see both sides of the fence. On the one hand, yes it shouldn't matter what colour you are for the job and you should only be judged on your merit. On the other hand, I guarantee I'd have a MUCH easier time getting job offers if I was a white man named John. As for the solution going forward, it's a tough one but I'm not particularly keen on diversity quotas. Meritocracy should rule, but unconscious bias is stil very strong

@HairExplosion Search up "The Resume bias" by King's College London. Several other articles discuss this But you don't need an experiment to figure that out, do you? It's painfully obvious. Do you really think British emoloyers don't discriminate based on how foreign your name looks on a CV?
