 @cherylsamons39 As another commenter explained, your mistake is thinking Trump is logical. Has it ever occurred to you that maybe, just maybe the guy just talks without much thought?

@cherylsamons39 Do you need to listen to an entire speech before you can trust your eyes and ears? He quite clearly says "I'm not a Christian" and even shakes his head. Y'know, the gesture people do to deny something? Whether it makes sense or not is irrelevant to whether he actually said it when the evidence is that clear

@cherylsamons39 I listened to some more of it and it's not looking good lol He tells the audience that Christians built the country and says "you guys built this country" instead of "WE built this country". One might call that a Freudian slip

@cherylsamons39 Why is it almost inconceivable to you that he was lying about ever being a Christian of any kind?

@cherylsamons39 So if a person comes to your church and asks you all to donate to their business claiming it's a "Christian project" or whatever and they claim they're Christian, yet they can't cite a single Bible verse when asked their favourite one, and it turns out they're convicted of fraud, would you honestly in good faith still believe they're Christian and donate? Or would you put two and two together and figure they're grifting?
