  1. Please call it what it is. The Arab slave trade, or Islamic slave trade. To simply call it the Trans Saharan slave trade overlooks the fact it was not only occuring over the Sahara, but also over the Red Sea and the Indian Ocean. So lets not sugarcoat the labels.
