  24. As a fellow Somali, I disagree. Yes you should assimilate when you migrate to a new place but it's not completely up to you. It's more so up to the native population. If they accept you, then great. Idk about you, but it's been made very clear to me that no matter how much you try, you'll never be considered 'really British', especially if you're not white. Who wants to feel like an outsider their whole life? So I decided it's best I move back to Somalia and help build the country. But guess what? I'm an ex Muslim and would be much less accepted in Somalia because of it, never mind the danger. So both options aren't great but the treatment is better in the UK so here I stay

  44. It'd be hard to enforce because religious teachings and rules often shape a person's values and morals. Take this new assisted dying bill for instance. How many MPs do you reckon consider life sacred and not to be ended prematurely because they were raised Christian or Muslim or whatever? Probably quite a few, even if they're now irreligious. Those things kinda stick unfortunately
