@BloodyPandas GDP per capita (PPP adjusted) in the UK is more than double that of China. The UK also holds the financial capital of the world, London. Beijing is far behind in the rankings. Just a few metrics there for you

@ShreyaSudarshan What Britain did to India was horrific and unacceptable. That being said, the fact Britain could control India like that for so long is a testament to the difference in power between the two nations. India was weak despite having a population circa 36x larger than their colonisers. Also, India currently having the 5th largest economy in the world isn't that impressive when their population is 1.4 billion lol. What's the GDP per capita between all those people? It's about $2.4k. In Britain, its about $42k. Big difference. Also compare the numbers of Indians coming to Britain with the numbers of Brits going to India. I think it's very clear now that it can hardly be said that Britain is "nothing" lol
