@Rosskles The context doesn't matter. The police are meant to be professionals meaning whatever happened prior, you do not kick a restrained suspect's head like that.

@TheAArmstrong Was he being assaulted when the guy was RESTRAINED? Stop making excuses for him. The guy should not be a cop let alone an armed cop if he can't control his emotions

@TheAArmstrong I've considered the situation and still hold that it's evidently clear the officer is unfit to resume his role policing the public, and poses a danger to them instead It's really that easy mate

@TheAArmstrong It's not exactly new for an officer to get attacked by suspects. This is the exact thing they're trained to deal with "I saw my colleagues assaulted and lost it" would not be a defence for me or you, would it? Thus, even less so for the police. He should be (and thankfully has been) sacked and will be lucky not to get charged If the suspect was resisting, he could've sat his knee on him or something. No need to boot his head ffs

@TheAArmstrong What would it take before you deem a police officer worth sacking? Another Wayne Couzens incident? Tell me
3
@TheAArmstrong I said "you could claim", not "would claim". Learn to read Also, what he did is still sackable, hence his suspension, so what you on about?
3
@dave4803 Again, the suspect had already been restrained. What was the need to kick his head?
3
@TheAArmstrong You might be right, if we ignore the seemingly obvious fact that he's a trained police officer and I'm not.

@TheAArmstrong If you had half a braincell, you'd realise it was sarcastic Of course training can't 100% prevent you from losing your cool but that doesn't mean you won't be discharged for gross misconduct which this clearly is. You're acting like he kicked him WHILE the man was attacking. He was firmly incapacitated so there is absolutely no reason to kick his head
2
@BigTasty1975 So that makes it ok for the officer to kick the suspect's head like some hooligan and not a trained professional, does it?

3:51 Whoa Nick, caught yourself there

@TheAArmstrong Police training... Pretty sure that still exists and they don't just let any Tom or Harry sign up and start arresting people on day 1 of onboarding
1
@TheAArmstrong This might be a wild guess, but maybe...police training? Unless you think they let anyone sign up and start arresting people right away
1
@TheAArmstrong But then you could still claim he lost control after seeing what happened prior to his colleagues
1
@BigTasty1975 Yes, no, maybe so?
