There will never be justice in a nation until every one of us is below the law

Is it true that British soldiers did similar things in Iraq? I heard stories about ears being cut off and used for necklaces. I imagine sexual abuse and the like too

Thankfully, some of us here have enough dignity to want to be equal under the law with every other citizen

@50_Pence Unless you suggest we stop paying tax, I'm not sure what we can do

Nobody should ever tell you to condemn Hamas without condemning Israel themselves, and way more harshly

@JosephCymrank You think mob rule is good?
2
@noratuk9824 Ah yes, because France, USA, and every other republic all have a Stalin or a Pol Pot equivalent as head of their states, right? One of the dumbest things I've ever read on this site
2
@noratuk9824 History didn't start in the last century, genius. Yes, almost all terrible and ruthless leaders throughout time were monarchs, but autocrats in general. Few were democratically elected I will refer to your point exactly as you made it. I'll even quote it verbatim if you like - "if we don't have Charlie (who I can't stand) we'll have Stalin and Pol Pot". Yes, you really did sound that ridiculous. Don't blame me for your amnesia. Do better next time

@noratuk9824 Not triggered. Just said something ridiculous. What you're doing is textbook cherrypicking. You pick out certain periods in history (you had to go as far back as Napoleon ffs 😂) in certain countries that fit neatly into your argument. And the mental gymnastics to compare celebrities to Stalin and Pol Pot is astounding lmao Your point is that republics lead to people like Stalin or Pol Pot, which again is absurd and ignores that almost all the horrific leaders of history were monarchs. The logical conclusion is that autocracy (whether it's a monarchy or dictatorship) is generally bad. Not republicanism.

@noratuk9824 So now your argument is egalitarianism isn't natural. Yeah, well neither is the internet and yet here you are. I love how you naturalists on the web never realise the utter contradiction in your presence here Off you trot then, back to your cave 🤣
