I remember a Yemeni guy and I were arguing. He kept insulting my country and I insulted his. Then he brought up that hadith and it was like a checkmate. So disgusting how he hid behind it like that

I remember asking a Muslim preacher how it's fair that some Muslims will go to jannah without ever questioning their beliefs and making sure they're following the truth. The idea they just get lucky to be born into the correct religion and just follow it blindly and get a free pass to heaven bothered me. He told me "dont worry about their reasons. Its not your job to question them. Worry about yourself". But then when people leave Islam, suddenly you have to justify yourself and let others decide if your reason was valid or not lol In conclusion, it's clear they don't care about truth seeking. Just numbers

"Islam is perfect. We Muslims are not" should be a meme at this point

Facts. I remember thinking I'd be married and have kids by 22. 26 now and glad that never happened

I don't know if it's accurate to say most Somali girls in the West have underwent FGM. In Somalia, yeah

@tajtagore4117 Islam does not encourage questioning much. It encourages learning, specifically about Islamic fields - things like aqeedah, fiqh, fusha arabic, etc. It does not encourage questioning the veracity of the religion itself. You're eventually going be told its just waswās (whispers from the devil) and to seek refuge from Allah from those doubts lmao. Or get called a kafir and potentially worse depending on where you live

My dad has two families. He always tried to force a relationship between us and his second family back home. I always felt bad about not really caring about them, but now that I left Islam, I straight up told him idc about them. They're HIS family. Not mine. I wish them well but stop forcing a relationship between us. Suffice to say my mother never got over it too. It put a huge rift between them and eventually led to divorce and my younger siblings grew up in a single home because of it. Thank you Islam

@sleether4049 Andrew Tate likes 15 year old girls. Big step up from Mo tbh

A blind man killed his female slave for insulting the prophet persistently. When the case was brought to Muhammad, he pardoned the man and said there is to be no punishment for him. The source is Sunan Abi Dawud 4361, as well as Sunan An Nasai 4081 Incredible

They love quoting Western intellectuals who praise Islam. Can't forget how many times I've heard the name "Geroge Bernard Shaw" 😂 Such an insecure religion
4
@tajtagore4117 The hadith doesn't mention desertion or treason. It's simply for not following Islam anymore. Scholars unanimously agree on this, not that the meaning of "whoever changes his religion, kill him" is ambiguous in the first place. Apostasy is a capital offence. You get 3 days to repent and then your head rolls. Denying this is disingenuous
3
FGM is rightfully banned in the West, but male circumcision of babies should be banned too. But governments prioritise the feelings of religious nutjobs over the bodily integrity of a child who can't consent. Disgusting
3
Nor Christian law
3
Yep. It's also why you hear a lot of prison converts. Though there's also the huge protection factor at play there 😂
2
@tajtagore4117 If you aren't convinced of an answer and persist with more questions, that doesn't necessarily mean you're acting in bad faith. It could just mean the answers are crap. Hence why some decide they've heard enough and they leave. "The prophet would not bash people going down the wrong path" Bruh, he literally ordered to kill people who stop believing wdym 💀
2
Are we though? We are the beneficiaries of the most violent and destructive region of the world for centuries. The West has had the largest detrimental impact on the world, by far. And we perpetuate it too while believing we are the best Look up how smartphones are made, or how chocolate is made. It shows we're okay with modern slavery, sweatshops, and human exploitation. Just so long as we don't have to see it.
2
@AbdullahIbnAbdullah-pk1kf You're being disingenuous. I highly doubt somebody said to you "oh btw before you take your shahada, just wanna let you know you'd be killed if you change your mind later...in an ideal Islamic state of course" But let's say they did tell you. You're a rare exception. Dawah preachers almost never tell non Muslims that. Go watch a bunch of conversion videos and tell me how many times that happens. Probably less than 1%
2
@MrCip You literally just conceded your entire argument with the line "people can change their minds" It's as simple as that. There are people who truly believed it was wrong to eat animals, and then...changed their mind on it. So vegans who claim there are no ex vegans are just silly. Though it is also true that a lot of self proclaimed ex vegans were just plant based eaters and not really vegan. Also, about wearing animal skin - who decides what excommunicates you from veganism? Does eating honey excommunicate you? How about using mouse traps?
2
I agree somewhat. While I dislike the pervasive ex-Muslim attitude of constantly attacking Muslims and feeding into far-right xenophobic people, I think it's important to expose Islam for what it really is I left Islam and have no hate for Muslims, but I do hate Islam because its simply dangerous. Insulting it is perfectly fine. Insulting Muslims all the time, not so much
2
Both like fiddling with kids, both like subjugating women, both violent, both con artists. I can see why he likes Muhammad. Is Andrew Tate the mahdi? 😱
1
Relax. There are not a billion dangerous Muslims, let alone "a few billion"
1
Sneako is very reactionary. He was 'anti woke' so long that he decided to go all the way to the other side and join a fascist ideology to show how not woke he is. And now he's realising it wasn't such a great idea.
1
It's like a really bad gym contract. Except, deadlier 😂
1
Tbf Nation of Islam is quite far from actual Islam. It's more like Sikhism in that it takes elements of Islam and makes a whole new religion
1
You win 🤣
1
@sebastiaanv 😂
1
Can you imagine a business contract where it stipulated that if you break it, you could be killed? Never mind the fact that changing your beliefs is not even as bad as breaking a business contract Insane how Muslim preachers never warn them. That in their ideal Islamic state, they'd be executed for changing their mind lol. I mean, we know why they hide that fact...
1
Let's not make fun of them. They were indoctrinated most likely and it's not easy to wake up and point the finger at the religion you're taught to believe in for fear of eternal torment otherwise
1
So what should this be called? The Fitnah or The Ridda Wars?
1
@joeb5080 As of 2024, 38 states have passed bills and executive orders designed to discourage boycotts of Israel. Most anti-BDS laws have taken one of two forms: contract-focused laws requiring government contractors to promise that they are not boycotting Israel; and investment-focused laws, mandating public investment funds to avoid entities boycotting Israel That is clear subversion of the rights of American citizens for the sake of a foreign nation. Is that okay to you?

Nah. She goes further than just criticising bad behaviour. She appeases the far right. As an ex Muslim, that never sat well with me. Her message isn't one I value. Obviously she shouldn't have been threatened though
1
@SJG-nr8uj She did appease the far right at times. I don't think I excused the Quran or said she shouldn't criticise it. She didn’t even criticise Islam. She just constantly demonised the Pakistani community to score points with the far right.
1
@laikanbarth Of course not all her viewers are gonna be far right, Einstein
1
@solvingpolitics3172 Do you think religious civil law is okay when Jews do it?
1
@ITZCHELSEA88 Christ is 💩
1
@qasmb1546 Or maybe that's a bunch of nonsense. Ever thought of that?
1
Islam is a dead horse that just keeps getting beaten. Kinda sad. Leave the poor religion alone 🤣
1
Yeah like the whole Jewish courts thing that somehow gets completely ignored. Sharia courts are wrong. Jewish Beth Din courts are also wrong!
1
This is common across many groups I've noticed. Muslims, Christians, even vegans lol. "You were never vegan in the first place" 😂 All silly
1
No, no, you don't get it. That verse is referring to ENTERING Islam, you see. It's all about CONTEEEEEXT Because as you know, the Quran is the perfect of God....who somehow struggles with basic frickin communication 😵💫
1
@izifaddag8221 Let's not be racist
1
@winxclubstellamusa Just because it's not as bad as Islam doesn't mean it's okay. It's still shit to have religious based communities in a secular country
1
Ngl I think it's best to not jump to conclusions. Yeah it was most likely a Muslim assassination but who knows, it could turn out to be a personal attack for whatever This same jumping to conclusions leads to all kinds of disinformation and potential riots
1
@southbug27 Calm down, Mussolini. We don't deport citizens even if they commit crimes
1
@southbug27 Calm down, Mussolini. We don't deport citizens over crimes

6:59 I would be wary of quoting the likes of Douglas Murray or Rupert Lowe without citing their sources. These are people who genuinely hate immigrants, not just violent ideologies. Also, he ignores that a significant percentage of the British public also support some kind of blasphemy law, which I find sad. But it goes to show he's just picking on Muslims
1
@FriendlyExmuslim No worries. Keep up the work 🤙
1
Muhammad gave silent approval to severe domestic abuse. A woman came to him complaining about her husband who beat her so hard that her skin went green. He ignored this completely and rebuked her instead. Source: Sahih al-Bukhari 5825
1
But how would they even enforce Sharia law? They still need to abide by state laws, right?
1
@granaa953 Sharia law currently in London? What are you talking about?
