  3. Are we though? We are the beneficiaries of the most violent and destructive region of the world for centuries. The West has had the largest detrimental impact on the world, by far. And we perpetuate it too while believing we are the best Look up how smartphones are made, or how chocolate is made. It shows we're okay with modern slavery, sweatshops, and human exploitation. Just so long as we don't have to see it.
