@psour33 my point being we were great nations In Europe before ww1 we are not today you do know the modern day middle East Arab world and Islamic world is primarily down to us I don't think any of us in Europe can talk about empire now here while the world's nationalist history from south America to Polynesia marches ours here. I can't worry about Europe but Macron should have handed them riots in Paris better. Our empires still existed lots of it after ww2 especially in Africa and the middle East will always be a problem but more so for you because your landlocked to Europe and the middle East but we partioned the ottoman empire after ww1.

@marcgovaerts644 it's funny my ex is American still my best friend in India she phoned me one night she said the Indians really don't like you but even there history is exaggerated and gets mixed up with colonial history because we occupied and Europe did certain places before it after nations where created colonies where European all over the world but that's w small part or the history done when the world was completely different th4 world outside it colonies was generally unexplored only a few nations stem from colonies like America.

@ekaterinalokshina2043 it's probably something like that because France Spain and the Dutch where at war with us over America after the revolutionary war . Trouble is with American history after 1776 everyone turned American but it was still European history but there was problems after the revolutionary war and independence then there was the Napoleonic wars and the American civil war was European the end of that ended in Paris.. the 50 states in America lots of them didn't even exist it was broken into regions plus Louisiana was purchased of the french Alaska off the Russians then most of the southern states including Texas and California right up to Vancouver where Spanish. People think George Washington founded Vancouver it was a Spanish settlement before that.

@ekaterinalokshina2043 that's where I got messed up as a kid with history we was taught our side and the winners but I wanted to know more about the world around me I loved maps as a kid geography and history then I learnt about nations history from independence which was all done at different times learnt about that after that there's a big trail that covers around 600 years of history which has ended up with a world that has more in common and a shared history today you don't want that gone it's just recent for some that starts at the European voyage of discovery that started before even Europe existed as nations but was kingdoms and all sorts.

Only a few did that created settlements that's called frontier land outside of colonies the problems really stem from the pre modern world and modern world because it borders mainly how they where created that was never done with consideration anywhere in Africa India and the ottoman empire after ww1

@mickhd4371 no I want what my education always deserved growing up in the UK now I'm just a good person who knows what the UK and Europe has turned into over the last 30 years and didn't need to here and in western Europe it did in central and eastern Europe is wrong now for all of us if we move forward like this in Europe there's a big chance this is how it could be for the rest of our life's something's are worth fighting for.
