Three former Soviet republics are members of the European Union (EU): Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania. These three Baltic states were the first to declare independence from the USSR in 1990.  The EU also has a relationship with other post-Soviet states through the Eastern Partnership (EaP). The EaP is a forum for discussion on trade, economic strategy, and travel agreements between the EU and six Eastern European countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine.

  2. They need to be more open about how Europe has changed over the last 30 years now and how the world outside of Europe has changed since ww1 and ww2 now. How they go things now us helping no one even in Moscow now. What certain nations have in Europe today and the world outside of Europe all stems from our history here. Our empires in Europe don't exist anymore but what the world has today outside of Europe does.
