@carrias1 the trouble is i was brought up 9n a different uk and Europe before 1989 and Margaret Thatcher and the European union really the whole world has changed since ww2 and 30 years Ago also. Its kind og essy to explain really if people stop living in the past ahx using history against me they have never lived. We used to have the biggest empire in recorded history it doesn't exist anymore but what millions of people have living here there children born here who some become politicians un Westminster and what billions of people have across the world exists instead today. Those people in Westminster everyone onr of them knows how the uk was before the European union and i guess they know why there elders cane to the UK and what for so that's it really from a true Brit.

@Mac-h1c and that goes to any nation we gave Independence to through colonies mandates or protectorates. We can't talk about our history but the world was left with history with us Brits not just in America but all over the world so if they live in the past we will.

@Mac-h1c look nations stem from our history they where created by the people in them and they may teach you about that but remember in 1776 you became Americans but Europe was fighting over America for nearly another 80 years after that. Don't loose sense of who you are where your elders come from like people have in Europe today imagine a whole world that can live in a past like that with us America is not our problem our empires in Europe don't exist anymore but the modern world outside of Europe does today including north and south America.

@Mac-h1c us Brits had the biggest empire in recorded history before ww1 our empires in Europe still existed they don't today Apart from a few nations that got independence from us before ww1 most nations didn't exist and got independence from us or in Europe Our empires in Europe don't exist today but the world outside of Europe does and because of other empires we beat in ww1.

I had to grow up watching a whole world coming here knowing what many people didn't know caught between my own people those coming here. I moved to Sheffield from London during the miner's strike where the mess the UK has become today evolved from. I travelled around the world in a time I couldn't and never saw my dad and watch Europe itself change that's completely different from 30 years ago and you left me with nothing. You act like the whole world and Europe coming here to live didn't effect us to and we can't say nothing.

It's been here to long and now the Berlin wall isn't there the buffer states of Europe need to go now ww2 was 80 years ago and what they where doing after ww2 was hidden from the world. That's why I talk about the British empire now the nation building days are over.

@conorwhite2066 it's funny I have just woken up from a dream about what your talking about a d it's what I talk about now what was happening from eastern Europe and all over the world after ww2 was hidden from the west. Even the dissolution of the soviet union was hidden from the west it was done on our Christmas day which is different from there's in Russia and the European union has never been dealt with openly.

@conorwhite2066 we was in east Berlin after the wall came down and travelled down eastern Europe. I wanted to know what was behind the Berlin wall. We ended up squatting there in old abandoned buildings left by people at that time Germany didn't know what to do . You would go down eastern Europe it was so cheap it was the same ghost towns that had been abandoned due to stuff that happened after ww2 down eastern Europe and the iron curtain. It's what I'm saying those problems like in the middle East should have ended 30 years ago. We got to Yugoslavia got to Sarajevo in 1993 we knew there was something wrong there 3 years later Yugoslavia didn't exist but we came home from that.

@ConvictedFelon34 Just imagine growing up in the UK in the 70s telling people they are not russian in the soviet union I used to get into arguments with people about that then these problems start in Ukraine because they don't want to be russian. Time catches up with people people like me never get listened to there is always a hand on my shoulder.

@jasonhaven7170 if I could talk openly about how the world changed after ww1 and ww2 without being slated for it demonised and being abused for it never listened to since I was a child that might help because our empire doesn't exist today but what people have and billions across the world have and millions have here today does. That's why I like suella she thanked the UK for the opportunity that UK gave her family and her being born here then she got the sack for it. The reasons people come here today are not the same as suellas family or rishis They have there own government and nations today for starters.

@anthonygallagher4157 I'm a Brit it doesn't matter I realise now I have said to much since I was a child and can see why my life was destroyed and abused since a child and just seen a world of opportunity that people who had nothing not so long ago knew about I can't ever do anything and I'm fed up of being lied to in my own country now while being told everything was my fault they all know why they are here and where they come from I just took everyone as a British and knew why they where here but the Europe and the UK is it full of people who will celebrate and appreciate being British now

@jessiegleaves9037 what im saying we talk about law in this country my uncle worked for the metropolitan police in hong Kong it was a British colony it's very British under the ansthetic of being Chinese he helped create a law system in Hong Kong but in colonies they where controlled by us the people where British subjects I think we created the law system in America to in the colonies the metropolitan police where there lots of Irish joined

So no one can talk about the British empire in the UK anymore we need to know because someone is going around thing's the wrong way here now because it's not just nations like America Canada America that wouldn't exist without us and Europe but most of the modern world to outside of Europe to now our history is our strength in Europe not our weakness. I'm British. What has trump Putin Ukraine problems in Palestine got to do with us. I find it funny Ukraine wouldn't even exist without Russia and being part of the russian empire or the soviet union that ended 30 years ago. I can remember when the British empire and french empire existed and European kingdoms and monarchy's used to rule over the world and it's the reason people from all over the world live here and billions of people around the world including America have what they have today because of us. Not now these people sold Europe down the toilet and got us pandering to a modern world that only exists because of our history here in Europe today.
