My thoughts are precisely as carefully thought out as Apple's engineers and their customers's: I have no coherent thoughts because it's a dumb idea to automatically call EMS, especially if it requires the GPS recognizing being on a road but not checking if I'm near a fair ground or junk yard. If that's not obviously stupid then I couldn't possibly begin to wag my finger hard enough for it to make sense to anyone else.

@ElijahCiali I would say that's a good reason to say automatically calling emergency in a crowded area is pretty dumb. The GPS can tell there are 1000 people packed together, so can Apple because their phones talk to eachother (those tracking pods for eg), not to mention the 5g from telcos could also be a source for nearby crowds. There's plenty of competent implementations to prevent a false alarm in a crowded area imho. The only case for sutocalling emergency is when nobody is around and you're hurt - ergo I think it is a stupid feature the way it's implemented through only the GPS, especially since they've confirmed that they did think ahead well enough to discriminate a junk yard but didn't think any further than that.
