. Margaret Thatcher is not the economic model to look up to, any idiot can generate cash flow by selling off public assets. In fact, the skeptic might say an interested buyer whe wasn't allowed to own public resources might want to promote a state which was keen to sell what I wanted to buy to our mutual benefit. That's more mafia than government imho.

This is classic blame profile kf Liz. If it's hard and you have to compromise too much, just release it as is anyway and show the public what you did and how it was scuttled. Then people blocking legislation need to stop electing useless ministers. Special interests need to have zero impact on whether or not a policy is reviewed as is. Liz is told "oh no, we can't do that that or they'll be mad at me"... Just do it. If it's right and good you'll be fine. I hate this MP whine fest. Just do it til you're stopped then show the public who stopped you and why; it's not complicated, it's just work to normal people.
