  1. Know how to solve the housing crisis? Keep rates high so developers build entry level homes instead of luxury homes since mortgages are too expensive at the high end when rates are high, and affordable housing will still be affordable at 10% for a $100k condo mortgage. The issue is we're not building many homes, we're building fewer massive homes which are only affordable to people who already own homes. Or start a public developer to build starter housing. One or the other, there are several solution including rezoning, or rent limiting for more.
